The two-piece Heemskerk Balbo 1 star pool cue is made of hardwood. The cue has a length of 145 cm, weighs 380 grams and has a brass screw tip of 11 mm. In addition, the pool cue has a rubber cap on the back. This 1 star cue is also available in smaller sizes 105cm and 122cm.
This 1 star pool cue is a tribute to Balbo, the nickname of Alfredo de Oro (1863 – 1948). Alfredo was a Cuban professional carom billiards and pool player who won the world title several times simultaneously in both three-cushion billiards and straight pool. He was posthumously inducted into the Billiard Congress of America's Hall of Fame in 1967, the first non-American to receive the honor. He was ranked number 4 on the Billiards Digest 50 Greatest Players of the Century.
